I finally got round to watching the 8bits video that’s been posted around recently, and I’m glad I did. At just under 7 mins, it’s a fantastic little short about current day gaming vs olden day gaming (take with a pinch of salt).
What you get is an action packed mini movie which blends 3d with traditional side scrolling 8 bit. The changes of view point are used really well, and there are lots of clever references to games squeezed in.
Well worth a watch if you’re into games!
