Password Visualiser

This was made as part of a university project. The brief was to creat an art piece using some form of technology. I decided to create a flash piece, visualising how secure passwords are.

Users entered a password, which was then stored in a database. The password is then retrieved when the flash is loaded, and a visualisation is created based on how secure it is (number of characters, numbers, special characters etc).

The flash then loops through the passwords, changing the properties of the piece as the password changes.

I aimed to make it visually entertaining, without it initially (or at all) being obvious what the message was. My main accomplishment in this piece of work the way the piece changes between each password; the effect is smooth and reminds me of a school of fish changing direction.
